Margaret Middleton Nichols (1990-present) knew she wanted to be a veterinarian by the time she was a second grader in Hamilton Elementary School-soon after "inheriting" her older sister's pony, "Blaze."

Horses became a lifelong interest, which evolved into a career. In 2020 she set up her private veterinary practice near the grounds of the Upperville Horse Show.
