Princess for a Day Ice Cream Social

Sterling, VA. You can be a princess for a day at the Heritage Farm
Museum of Loudoun County. The court of the Virginia Dairy Princess
Program will serve ice cream at an old-fashioned Ice Cream Social. The
first 100 children receive a complimentary tiara. Show off your princess
finest in our princess parade and attend a princess lesson with the 2010
Virginia Dairy Princess Ashley Rubush at 1:00. Wagon rides from 12:00 –
1:00. Free with paid Museum admission.  Pre-registration suggested. Call
571.258.3800 to register.
The Virginia Dairy Princess Program promotes awareness of the Virginia
dairy industry and creates relationships between rural and urban citizens
of the Commonwealth.  Over 40 young women between the ages of 9 to
19 are active participants in the program. For more information about the

The Princess for a Day Ice Cream Social is presented by Loudoun County
Department of Parks, Recreation & Community services in cooperation
with Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum, Inc. with the support of the
Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Association, the Mid-Atlantic Dairy
Association and the Virginia Dairy Princess Program.
